I LOVE these types of designs. It’s a nice reminder that there are people out there doing web design who are genuinely skilled and artistic. I myself am not one of those people. I do at times feel guilty for the work I do, as I know it does not meet up to the level of skill that an artist has. Oddly enough, due to our economy and our culture, I’m probably getting paid more than many extremely skilled artist while getting “carried” by photoshop.
I know exactly what you mean Joseph. I can’t draw anything beyond rough wireframes and don’t consider myself a ‘creative’ web designer. But everyone has their own set of skills.
