Traveling through Egypt was one of the best experiences of my life. I managed to get to El Alamein from Alexandria via a cab driver who decided he’d try and rip me off on the return journey. It was worth it though having seen this Birtish Tank on display.

Egypt was great. I’d love to go back there one day and spend more time getting further out into the south west. I’m getting that travel bug again!

Germany is a fantastic country, it reminds me of Australia in a way. Everything just works and runs and operates like it should and Berlin is just great. I can’t describe why, it just is.

Currently in Gibraltar on day 1 of my trip. I’m sitting where else but a pub called the Star Bar with a Heineken and have just polished off a Burrito.

On first impressions, Gibraltar is a surreal version of England. It’s pretty well the same in terms of shops and people, only it’s sunny and with Spaniards and Arab types about.

Tomorrow I’ll see if I can find a dive shop I’ve seen a flyer for and book for the next day before heading up the Rock, camera at the ready…
