Pictorymag has their latest photo story feature entitled Danger.
After seeing their last feature, London, I submitted a photo and story for the upcoming ‘Danger’ feature and it was selected! See if you can pick my photo!
Pictorymag.com has a good story on London article in photos. Check it out whilst you can!
Here’s an amazing colour film of life in London in the 1920s. It was made by a man and cinematographer called William Friese-Greene and covers most major London attractions as well as street life in general.
Over 10 minutes in length and well worth a viewing.
The film footage is from the British Film Institute.
Last night in honour of me getting closer to the grave, a few friends and randoms ventured to my local for a night of drinky poos and an improptu game of charades. The photos can be seen on Flickr.
For those of you that have seen me around since August will know that I’ve been sporting a beard of sorts. The plan as it stands is to grow my beard without trimming until new years eve and then on new years day have a wet shave and get rid of it all.
The whole idea behind growing the beard was simply to prove I could and having done that, shaving sounds like a good idea.
I’ll attempt to take some snaps of the before and after that I’ll post on here but for my own amusment really.
I came across this photography feature via Twitter. It’s called The Big Picture from boston.com and it’s a wrap up of big events of 2009 in photos. There are some great shots in there and descriptions to go along with it. The feature is in 3 parts but I’ll let you go through them at your own pace.
Just an update on the photos of Venice, I’ve now uploaded these to Flickr. Venice was incredible so check them out.
Achtung and schnell is about all the german I know. Thank God for video games!
In January this year I went to Berlin for a few days. I stayed in east Mitte near the Ostbahnhoff and had a great time. Berlin is amazing, so much history and so much to see and do. I saw Sachsenhausen, a concentration camp to the north of the city as well as a Third Reich tour with a fantastic and knowledgable guide by the name of Edo. He was from Holland if my memory is correct. A great guy!
I managed to get some great photos of Berlin in and around the city including some super night shots.
